Chesterton Grand Prix Results

Congratulations to the Prendergast family on a winning car! Despite a retirement of 24 years, the car still had some speed left in it.  The car was made in 2001 as Brendan's entry into the Cub Scout Pack 41 Pinewood Derby.  It won the Pack 41 Pinewood Derby championship in 2001, and the car also won the Crater Lake Council Big Pines District Championship, which was held at the Rogue Valley Mall that year. 

Brendan didn't plan to keep the car when he became an adult, and it was almost lost to history. Maybe Brendan will have an opportunity to race it again sometime in the future like John did at the Chesterton Grand Prix.
